Atlantis, Bahamas

Our second trip to Atlantis was equally as impressive as our first. They certainly know how to pull out all the stops. And with these views...IMG_2255

We stayed again at The Cove, which I highly recommend if you are looking for a romantic couples weekend, although it is quite pricey. The Cove is generally more exclusive and there are typically less kids around. Also, the pool area is adults only and offers a poolside casino and drink service. The Atlantis Resort has so much to offer for families though-- waterpark, aquarium, pools, and the list goes on...
Cafe Martinique: This is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlantis. The views of the marina are amazing but the décor inside the restaurant is stunning as well.

Mesa Grill: This was hands down my favorite meal at Atlantis. It is Bobby Flay's southwestern style restaurant. My favorite menu items are the goat cheese queso fundido, blue corn pancake, smoked chicken + black bean quesadilla, mango + spice crusted tuna steak. Also, the drinks were amazing--white peach margarita!
The beach, oh the beach..

Atlantis Property: there is so much to explore! Shark tanks, aquariums, waterparks, swimming with dolphins, underwater shark adventures, amazing views of the gigantic expanse.. My favorites are the lazy river (that we re-named the CRAZY river because it is anything but lazy) and the waterslides through the shark tanks!

Mandara Spa: Who doesn't love the spa? But the Mandara Spa offers great treatments and a luxurious complex for total relaxation. Our friend tried the pregnancy massage and found it super relaxing--the perfect place for a babymoon! We did the couples massage and would highly recommend it. Also, you can use spa properties all day-- Ryan says hang around and enjoy the steam room!IMG_2278
