Dear Hotel Madrid

Dear Hotel in Madrid welcomed us for a lovely city centre stay over Valentine's weekend...who doesn't want to spend the holiday of love sipping sangria and munching on tapas?!Well truthfully, we landed in Madrid for the football match although my suggesting my undying love for sitting at football matches was just a ploy to get lots and lots of tacos and sangria and guacamole and nachos and rice and even more sangria. I will have lots of updates on where to eat soon!Back to where to stay...Dear Hotel could not be in a more ideal location. Right off Gran Via, nestled in the Malasaña neighborhood, it is walking distance to anything and everything you need to see. It is also steps from Plaza de España metro station--which will connect you to anything else...the airport, Bernabau stadium. The modern, minimalist style is a dream...clean and crisp and ultra relaxing. All of the rooms offer views of gorgeous Madrid and some even with a private terrace to enjoy. I also love when hotel rooms have separate sitting areas, it just allows a little more space to spread out.dear hotel madrid  dear hotel madriddear hotel madrid
dear hotel madrid The rooftop restaurant and lounge at Dear Hotel is "Nice to Meet You"...offering a delicious variety for breakfast! The cheese and meat selection was one of the best I've seen and my made to order eggs..perfection! The restaurant is also the perfect spot for lunch, dinner or even just drinks! I highly recommend stopping in for the views alone! The outside seating offers amazing cityscape views of Madrid and leads over to the rooftop pool.IMG_0298IMG_0304dear hotel madrid  dear hotel madrid Can I get an amen for balconies?! I love sipping some tea in the morning on my own balcony...dear hotel madrid How stunning is this rooftop pool? It was the perfect view of one of my new favorite cities! :)
