Rome Eats

Here are my favorite quick eats in Rome:Pane & Vino: a small little corner restaurant near the Coliseum with delicious, fresh sandwiches! Also, the owner, Fabio, was so kind and gave us great recommendations in Rome! You must visit this quaint sandwich shop when in Rome.[gallery size="large" type="rectangular" ids="603,602,604"]IMG_2533

La Gelateria Frigidarium: my favorite gelato in Rome. Nutella. All. The. Way.IMG_2730[gallery type="rectangular" size="medium" ids="616,615,614"]
Alimentari Coronari: This was one of the best sandwiches of my life! Porchetta and broccolini. The Italians love their pork and they certainly know how to do it. This cute little restaurant only opened a few weeks before we arrived and so there was no menu, just a chalkboard list of items, but it was packed every time we walked by! And after we enjoyed our sandwiches and vino, we know why![gallery type="rectangular" size="medium" ids="611,610,609,605,606,607,608"]
Il Pozzetto: delicious pizzeria with trendy modern décor and in typical Italian fashion, outdoor dining. I love eating outside, enjoying the beautiful weather and watching people stroll up and down the streets. The restaurant is on Borgo Pio, a cute street near the Vatican that is lined with restaurants (we actually ended up here for a few different meals ;) ).[gallery type="rectangular" size="large" ids="600,599,597"]
Duecentogradi: amazing little sandwich shop with a wide menu and just steps from the Vatican.[gallery size="large" type="rectangular" ids="594,592,593"]IMG_2347
Just a few of my recommendations in Rome because the food in Italy is just too good to ever eat anything bad!Read our Rome itinerary here! And then the Rome less traveled here!
