La Ménagére
If you've been following along with me, you may have noticed I have been ever so slightly busy with loads of travel this fall. Just slightly. And as much as I love planning travel and making itineraries, it's sometimes hard to stay on top of it all when you're jetsetting every weekend. #firstworldproblemsALSO, I read that the same way you just did...is she complaining about traveling too much?!No, certainly, I am not. Just that my type A personality likes to have a plan everywhere I go and lately I have been learning to be more laidback. gasp!So very luckily, our latest trip to Italy was spent with amazing friends on their first trip abroad to Europe (read: they did tons and tons of planning!). This was just one of many pretty sweet little spots we ended up at thanks to their endless research!La Ménagére in Florence is a jack of all trades sort of spot...originally a housewares shop opening its doors in 1896. It was one of those iconic places, rich with Firenze history, that sadly was closing after so many years. And then an idea was born, recreating this historic spot into so much more...a restaurant, a coffee shop, a cocktail bar, a flower shop, and of course, the original, housewares shop. It's the perfect spot to just wander in, grab an international blend coffee, and be sure to stop and smell the roses.Read the winter menu here.
