GET ON THE MILK TRAIN

Covent Garden is buzzing with delicious dessert spots....there's Laduree, Godiva, and you know my all time favorite..Ben's cookies. But just steps away from the madness of buskers on every corner, down Bedford Street is the newest in unique sweet treats, Milk Train Cafe.milk-train-londonAfter seeing a few images pop up on insta, I knew I had to try this cotton candy cloud of ice cream. Yes, it's a tasty waffle cone filled with delicious soft serve ice cream, topped with sweet candies and then surrounded in a cloud of cotton candy. What the what. Also, did you know they call cotton candy "candy floss" here in the UK?!milk-train-london milk-train-london milk-train-londonSo I met a new friend at Covent Garden and we strolled through the shops chatting all along the way to Milk Train. We both ordered a classic chocolate (seriously good!), mine with salted caramel toppings and hers with m&ms, and of course, with the cloud of goodness. Then the photos ensued. And in natural progression, then the melting. So we gobbled it up as quick as we could! And thank goodness, they pass out wet wipes here! We were a sticky mess.milk-train-london milk-train-london milk-train-london milk-train-london milk-train-london milk-train-londonTo walk off this mid-afternoon snack, we headed over to one of my favorite views of the city--Waterloo Bridge. I love that you can see 'old' and 'new' London from either side of this bridge!waterloo-bridge-london waterloo-bridge-london
