The Lockhart

Sometimes a southern gal just needs some fried chicken and melt-in-your-mouth waffles. And a bellini or two.Insert, the Lockhart. And bonus, it's located in my fave little neighborhood of Marylebone.The decor was perfection...I seriously need it all sent right over to my flat. I am such a sucker for farmhouse style decorating, especially tin ceiling tiles...swoon!

Such sweet, delicate dishes too! I love these little touches at restaurants!I had the Chicken & Waffles...the syrup was such a delicious smoky, maple! So tasty. Also, I recommend the Shrimp & Grits...it's a unique spin on the classic with some oriental flavors. And don't leave without trying the sizzling cornbread, my goodness! YUM!For brunch, be sure to try a Bellini or a Mimosa, of course! But ask to see the cocktail menu as well...the Peach Manhattan is a tasty compliment to the waffles & syrup! I'll definitely be back to try some of those other delicious cocktail creations.Check the menu or book a table here!
