Finding a new 'hood

We spent the majority of this past weekend exploring various London boroughs to find the one that's right for us. The quintessential London neighbourhood. And we walked 18 miles across this city to do it.

Here are the hightlights:Notting Hill and Portobello Road MarketNotting Hill is everything my little American mind dreamed London would be. All white period conversions lining the streets and trees in perfect bloom. We ventured down Portobello Road exploring the almost 300 year old market, popping in and out of antique shops and snacking on halloumi wraps and fresh made donuts. Delightful.

We stumbled south of the river onto the Southbank Centre Market and guess what?! We ate more halloumi.

I snagged this pic on the Waterloo Bridge where we finished our adventure at Somerset House for drinks on the patio!image
We go 'flat shopping' on Wednesday and Thursday... I'll keep you posted on our hunt! :)
