SURFERS PARADISE + RUFFLED ROMPER

Most of our drive on the coast of eastern Australia was anything but glam and chic...it was a lot more of wild and rustic. I'm not complaining, I needed a break from hair dryers and make up and I think the boys were getting really used to bare feet and no shirts. We saw several signs along the way saying "no shoes, no shirts, no worries"... the real Australian way. But after a few weeks of 'roughing it', landing in Surfer's Paradise was seriously pure paradise for us girls. Molly (of Molly's Musings) and I showered up, styled our hair, put our makeup on, and of course, matched the cutest outfits. Meanwhile, the boys were scoffing because they were asked to wear shoes into the restaurant. Boys. This gorgeous little cocktail spot is The Rooftop at the newly renovated hotel, The Island. It's a perfect late afternoon place to enjoy a few sundowners! We had the Pash Absolut and the Strawberry Fields....delish! The pizzas here also smelled absolutely amazing, wish we had stayed around to try them out!And you can't just strut around Australia without rocking some of the best Australian fashion brands...Molly and I were both so obsessed with these looks from Keepsake the Label. My ruffled romper will stay a favorite in my closet forever I am sure -- I love the classic style of it with a flair of girly. Molly's aptly named Hide and Seek Dress (it was a bit tricky at first to sort out!) is all about the glam...but I love the cheeky peek of midriff!
